Well maybe not that wild. But a lot has been happening for sure. To start Nyree and I would like to say congrats and welcome to my cousin and her husband. They had their first child this past week. An 8lb. baby boy!! We grow them big on the farm!!
This past week was a very busy one. On Monday I interviewed for the co-clo position. The interview went very well I thought. The people I talked to that were in the room were impressed and all signs pointed to "yes". Well at least I thought so. They decided to go another direction. They took Bridget for the position. I am OK with that and happy for her. She is a great person for the job. No, really, she is. I am not being bitter. Not at all. Are you buying it? Well I hope you are cause Bridget is good. She is fun and a friend of ours.
Tuesday I was at the embassy helping get the new cafeteria open and interviewed new drivers for the new school bus. Also interviewed bus monitors. It was an experience for sure. Not going to go into details (just to be fair to those that interviewed) but I was surprised by some of the responses to the questions we asked. Lets say they were "creative".
Wed. I was at the American school helping the PE teacher with a few classes. I was "shadowing" him to see if I liked it. There were 2 classes that morning. A 7th and 9th grade. 7th grade was great and 9th was CRAZY. They are heathens. that maybe a bit of an understatement but man they are nuts. I may not be doing much with the school but substitute teaching but it could be interesting. Who knows. We will see what develops from there.
Thurs. and Fri. just flew by with more housework and working on the cafeteria. I was offered the position as asst. GM for the Aeraa board so I may end up taking that job if I get approved by the board. That is an interesting thing because I am the vice-chair. Not that I think I would be voting on my own candidacy. But you never know!!
This week is going to be loaded with just trying to get the shoppette/commissary off the ground. There has been some breakthroughs with info and shipping. As to what it will translate into we will have to see.
Other than that I have just been busy with the usual. This post just turned into a letter....that's too bad.
Maybe I should just sign it and get it over with.......might as well, I have gone too far down the road now. There is no turning back..........
Yours, or
With love, or
Truly, or whatever you want to end it with that doesn't sound weird
Eric

Holy Cow. So I am flipping through blogs by hitting the next button at the top of the screen, and this blog pops up with a foreign clock, yet in English? unlike the 5,000 or so that are in another language. I read a few entries and look at the pictures. I think I know you!!!!!!!!!????? If not, I apologize ahead of time for making a complete fool of myself--
